WiFlyer+v Delivers Affordable Internet VoIP Phone Service Wirelessly - Anywhere Within WiFi Reach
Portable WiFlyer+v sets new standard for flexibility and affordability by providing phone, data and printer connections wherever needed

HOUSTON, Texas and HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - September 20, 2005 -  Always On Wireless, Inc., an innovator of Wi-Fi and VoIP products and services, today at DEMOfall 2005 unveiled the portable WiFlyer®+v Wi-Fi communications hub which delivers integrated Internet telephony (also known as Voice-Over-IP, or VOIP) at a cost of only $12.95 per month for unlimited domestic calling. WiFlyer+v provides standard phone, data and printer connections without requiring a wired Internet connection by connecting wirelessly to the Internet via any public or private Wi-Fi network.  This functionality, coupled with its low price point for Internet phone service, makes the WiFlyer+v the ideal small office/home office (SOHO) communication center.

"At approximately half the monthly cost of other VoIP solutions, the WiFlyer+v and the bundled WiFlyer Phone Service offers the most cost-effective, easiest way to add phone, data and printer connections in any home, office or hotel," according to Rudy Prince, CEO of Always On Wireless.  "Since most broadband-connected homes now have wireless routers, and with Internet phone service rapidly becoming mainstream, the new WiFlyer+v offers a new level of flexibility, affordability and ease-of-use to establish phone and data service whenever and wherever you need it."

The growth in Internet (VoIP) Phone Service is exploding:  the number of residential VoIP subscribers worldwide is predicted to rise to 197.2 million in 2010, up more than 40-fold from 4.8 million in 2004, according to market research firm iSuppli Corp.  Yet today, the only way to deliver standard phone connections to these subscribers is with a wired phone adapter or router, requiring direct connection to an Ethernet cable with broadband access.   Supporting Internet phone service in other rooms lacking Ethernet broadband connections requires either wiring the phone connection into the house phone wiring, keeping a portable phone base station at the broadband router, or wiring together multiple pieces of equipment to establish a wireless phone adapter.  For home offices needing phone, data and printer connections, the complications multiply.

Operating as a wireless 802.11g communications hub, the WiFlyer+v instantly offers an Internet phone line, two 10/100 Ethernet data ports and a USB network printer connection for your home or on the road -  wherever Wi-Fi is available.  This eliminates the need for long cables or complex wiring while allowing easy installation via Internet browser.

Built for demanding phone and data applications, the WiFlyer+v includes integrated voice Quality of Service (QoS) and industrial-strength wireless security (WPA-PSK),  ensuring high-quality phone connections and complete protection of both your data and phone calls.  The product also allows a single standard telephone to be shared for both Internet and land line phone calls.  When a telephone land line is connected, the WiFlyer+v uses call waiting to allow easy switching between Internet and land line calls.  Emergency 911 calls are also dialed automatically over a land line (when connected) to provide accurate location identification.

The WiFlyer+v is offered together with the new WiFlyer Phone Service, which provides low-cost, high-quality phone calls over high-speed Wi-Fi, even while web surfing or downloading large files.  Users can choose a local phone number across the U.S. regardless of where they live, and make unlimited phone calls in the U.S. and Canada for a low fixed monthly price.  Premium features free in WiFlyer Phone Service that other service providers charge for include call waiting, caller ID, voicemail, call forwarding, 3-way calling, call-back and others.

The following features are supported by the WiFlyer+v:

• Standard telephone and phone land line RJ11 jacks
• Two port router with two Ethernet 10/100 connections
• USB Print Server supports USB connection for network printing
• 911 calls automatically use telephone land line (when connected)
• Two external antennas for maximizing and extending range
• Travels easily - compact size with miniature power adapter

WiFlyer Phone Service

The WiFlyer+v is being launched together with WiFlyer Phone Service to provide a seamless, easy-to-use experience for the end user.  This service, which is supported by one of the largest IP telephone networks in North America, offers unprecedented value and advanced features as follows:

• Unlimited calling within the U.S. and Canada
• One local phone number of your choice within the U.S.
• Call waiting, caller ID, voicemail, call forwarding, 3-Way calling
• Great international rates

Pricing and Availability

To begin shipping in November, 2005, the WiFlyer+v is available as a stand-alone product at $149.95, or with activation of WiFlyer Phone Service at $59.95.  The WiFlyer Phone Service provides a local U.S. phone number, unlimited calling within the U.S. and Canada, and advanced phone features for $12.95 per month with a one-time activation fee of $29.95.  No annual contract is required.  Orders for WiFlyer+v with WiFlyer Phone Service activation will be accepted starting in October 2005 at www.wiflyer.com.
